Sahara Mosaic Tissue Box
Made by hand in Damascus by the Al-Halabi family workshop.
This rectangular tissue box is finished in a warm terracotta rose tone, a lighter palette for the traditional Damascene mosaic. Mother-of-pearl is inlaid by hand across a surface of walnut, beechwood, lemon wood, eucalyptus and rosewood.
A wine-red velvet lining finishes the interior. It suits warm-toned interiors.

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Keep away from direct sunlight, radiators and humidity. No polish or chemicals needed: the natural wax finish protects the wood and mother-of-pearl for many years.
