Gaby Al Dayeh is celebrated as the king of Damascene mosaic art, and this chess and backgammon set is his own work. The folding board is cut and assembled by hand from walnut, beechwood, rosewood, lemon wood and eucalyptus, with genuine mother-of-pearl inlay set into the playing surface.
The wooden chess pieces, with resin backgammon checkers and dice, are stored inside the folding board. It is a set to play on, and equally at home on a display shelf.

Care Instructions
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Keep away from direct sunlight, radiators and humidity. No polish or chemicals needed, the natural wax finish protects the wood and mother-of-pearl for generations.
