Made by hand in Damascus by the Al-Halabi family workshop.

Layla is named for the night. A mother-of-pearl inlaid wood mosaic surface of walnut, beechwood, lemon wood, eucalyptus and rosewood catches the light in scattered points across the dark grain, like stars against a night sky.

Brocade lines the inside, and a detachable gold-toned chain comes with the clutch.

Care Instructions

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Keep away from direct sunlight, radiators and humidity. No polish or chemicals needed: the natural wax finish protects the wood and mother-of-pearl for many years.
