Made by hand in Damascus by the Al-Halabi family workshop.

Qamar is named for the moon. Mother-of-pearl inlay runs across a wood mosaic surface of walnut, beechwood, lemon wood, eucalyptus and rosewood, set by hand into a soft pattern that shifts with the light.

Brocade lines the inside, and a detachable gold-toned chain lets the clutch be carried by hand or worn over the shoulder.

Care Instructions

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Keep away from direct sunlight, radiators and humidity. No polish or chemicals needed: the natural wax finish protects the wood and mother-of-pearl for many years.
