Made by hand in Damascus by the craftsman George Alkhoury.
This compact square mosaic box is made with Damascene mosaic techniques from walnut, beechwood, rosewood, lemon wood and eucalyptus. Each mosaic fragment is assembled by hand, and genuine mother-of-pearl inlay adds a delicate shimmer to the woods.
A wine-red velvet lining inside holds jewelry and keepsakes. It can sit on display or be used every day.
